Terms of service

Last updated 17 October 2026

Draft. This document is a working draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be replaced before general availability. Contact us if you need signed terms today.

These terms apply to your use of Tried's website, dashboard and API (the “service”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including activity using your API keys. Keep credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

2. Acceptable use

  • Follow the laws that apply to your calls, including consent, call recording and telemarketing rules.
  • In Australia this includes the Spam Act 2003 and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006.
  • Do not use the service to impersonate people or organisations, to deceive callers, or for unlawful or harmful purposes.
  • Do not use agents to collect payment card numbers by voice.

We may suspend calling to protect callers, the phone network or the service, and will tell you why.

3. Fees

Usage is charged at the rates on our pricing page, billed per second, plus monthly charges for numbers and extra concurrency. Rates may change with 30 days' notice. Enterprise rates are set in your order form.

4. Your data

You own your content and call data. You give us permission to process it only to provide and secure the service. Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy.

5. Third-party providers

The service relies on telephony, media, speech and model providers. Their availability can affect the service. We list them on our security page.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features and will give reasonable notice of material changes.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

8. Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace at any time. We may end these terms if you materially breach them and do not fix the breach within 14 days of notice.
